Hmmm... must be written by a blogger who still lives back in the 40's and 50's, here. Get with the program - this is the 21st Century and women have come a long way! I certainly don't intend to watch MY daughter live a life of being barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen! Not when there are so many other things out there she can do to better her life!

There are woman out there who still do this, but not me. This is 2008 not 1940 something. Woman now unlike back then have so many more opportunities. We might as well take them while there here before some odd ball decides to take them away.

Let the boys play with boys. Let her find a girl team. We have too many people who feel they are entitled to whatever they want. If it's a boy's team; a gentlemen's club...what makes a girl/woman think she can become a member just because this is 2008.

Like I said in another blog, sometimes the all girl teams are no fun. I played on one back in my days 1985 to be exact, and all they did was cry and complain the whole time. What fun is that? The powder puff team....name says it all. Let the girl play football. These girls know what they are getting into when they join these sports. My son plays football and wrestles. Last year he went up against a girl. He looked at me like uh oh what do I do now because I taught him to never hurt girls. I looked at him and said honey, this is the only time in your life you do not have to treat a girl any different than you normally do out there on that mat. Personally, I think people should just mind their own business.

If you think people should mind their own business, you would have not responded to the blog.

I am simply giving my imput, not the one making the issue a big deal. There is a difference.

I believe that the girl should be aloud to play football. It is her choice and I am quit sure that she knows that she can be hurt. Hey,so can boys

I am not saying she can not be allowed to play football....just not on a boys' team.
