Its all business. Why should we be pissed of at a kid making money hm? if you were given 10 millions of dollars to root for the steelers would you do it? how 20 million to root for the yankees? He is doing what everyone is doing making money and trying to get this team back in the playoffs. The team can't do anything without him.

I agree with you totally. People are still going to buy the shoe because it is the Lebron shoe not because of what the shoe looks like. Bottomline he plays for the Cavs, the shoe is named after him and the fans should support. Just because he is from Ohio does not mean he has to automatically like Cleveland or Ohio teams! Come on now people stop being so childish! This is a BUSINESS!

THANK YOU!! Finally some other folks that can see past the fact that he plays for the cavs. People are still gonna make a mountain out of a mole hill. He has been a life long fan of the Yanks and he has always lived in Akron so what! How many other people are fans of other teams that have lived in Ohio their whole lives. He is just making the money where and when he can and I do not blame him. As long as he does the job that we pay him to do then who cares who he roots for in baseball, football, hockey or any other sport besides basketball.

LaBron is doing what is best for him. So he is a Yankee fan - get over it - Cleveland fans are so sensitive ! Mayb Labron is just paving the way for his exit from Cleveland after his contract is up.

Lebron is still a kid. if he gone to college cleveland would never won the eastern championship. without lebron the team is nothing. him leaving will crush the team and any hope for cleveland fans. Just to go after a guy for a speeding ticket where i've seen people speed of 90 mph on I-71 many times but that is ignored when lebron did it its all piss and moan about role-models.

the kid has the right to do what he wants to do with his life. if we try to control his life by piss and moan then hes going leave.

I am very upset that Cleveland is giving LeBron crap for his new shoe! First off-LeBron is a young man peak in his career and always true to what he advertises. If her wants to make a shoe to represent his childhood memories and long ties with New York, then he should be able too. this is just the begining for him...he IS the new Michael Jordan. His name is known world wide and its only the start for this young man. Of course, to cleveland, he will probally come out with another shoe updated in design to match our Jerseys anyways. And Secondly, "NY" is an urban collection of hats and clothing...so if anything I believe NY will love his shoe and it will be another great success for him. You can't tell me you have never seen a flat-billed cap with NY on it before? There are so many designs and colors. I believe it will be a success just because that alone, its the "new shoe". Cleveland, don't hate on him-he's just a young man with a lifetime of oppurtunities ahead.
Im just a 21 yr girl who doesn't care for sports, but EVEN I know that LeBron is a legend...and its only just the beginning. "Our Shoe" will come. ;-)

Again I agree with you Mars83, when the news got wind of the speeding ticket Lebron received they ran with it like it was such a tragedy. I think the media needs to stop trying to find something wrong with the kid and focus on the good he is doing. He never really had a chance to have a normal young adult stage of life so the media must realize that he is going to make some mistakes it is the course of life. However, making a mountain out of a molehill will not help things out. I think as long as he is not doing drugs are acting crazy like most of the people in Hollyweird the news should leave him alone.

I agree with ALL of you! I think it's pretty stupid that so many people get upset because he likes the Yankees. So what? Lets not forget what he has done for the Cavs. They were a horrible team before he came along. He is dedicated to the Cavs. That's who he plays for. And the shoe deal is business. He has a right to like whatever team he wants!! You go LeBron!! If you like the Yankees, more power to you! You are a superstar in Cleveland, and without you, the Cavs would be nothing, just like they were before you came!!!

You know I find it so funny that all the people who were giving him crap for the yanks cap this summer and the speeding ticket have had NOTHING to say about this, I think it's only because they are kickin ass right now and if we were losing they would all be real quick to talk crap about him. It is nice that all of you can see beyond the fact that he plays for us and roots for other sports teams that's awsome.

Last year, some cavs fans wanted to trade Lebron to another team because the cavs weren't doing that great. Everytime the indians or the browns lose a game...fire the coach. Its nice to know all teams are getting somewhere with the current coaches.

No one is perfect in life to have something to become near perfect it takes time. Impatients and taking the easy way out takes the time much longer to be near perfect.
