A Simple Birth Certificate, Mr. Obama!

After hearing some troubling info about Barack Obama and his birth certificate I stumbled upon this site: http://www.conservablogs.com/velvethammer/2008/03/05/w

I read all of the posts and some of the links.  And I'm not naive, I realize that not everything one reads on the internet should be taken as gospel, but very much of the info supplied does hold water.

I have never voted for a republican for president and I’m not sure I will this time. But one thing I am sure of is the fact that there is definitely something “interesting” occurring with the Obama camp’s unwillingness to disclose such pertinent, yet readily available documents. It seems to me that this should really be a simple task to accomplish: supply us, the citizens and voters of The United States of America, with a CERTIFIED, unmodified certificate of birth!! How hard is that?

Perhaps if the tele-prompter told him how to furnish this info properly, this would be a non-discussion.  ;-)

Regardless, I just attempted to sign the petition to get Barry to release the official, unmodified certificate, but was met with a page that no longer exists. So I googled this…. “petition for obama birth certificate”……..and the very first hit from google points to this link…….

So I click on the link and I am astonished to find out that the original petitioner has had to remove the petition due to real threats that contained information specific to his address and family!! It is very unfortunate that a simple request for disclosure of info regarding a candidate running for PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES has been met with such animosity and contempt. Unless there is something being hidden, and at this point I suspect there is, one would think that the Obama camp would be more than willing to disclose any information that would back up and corroborate their position that Obama is constitutionally qualified to be the President.

As I stated when I began this comment, I have never voted for a republican for the office of President (in fact my motto for the last eight years has been: “Don’t blame me….I voted for the other guy!”), but if we cannot even get Barry to be honest and straight forward about something as simple as his birth certificate, then how can I trust anything he has said so far? How can I believe that his comdemnation and denouncing of Rev. Wright was not just a put-up job for the media? How can I believe that he is really not a Muslim? (And I’m not saying that if he is a muslim, he can’t be President–I’m saying: he has stated that he is a Christian and not a Muslim, but is he telling the truth?) See how this one simple document (birth certificate)-and all the secrecy behind it- has changed the whole outlook of this election for me? Simply supplying the document and answering the questions with honesty and truth would have made things easier for me……actually, the easiest thing for me would have been for Obama to concede to Hillary, but I digress as I’m sure I just made many people reading my blog sick to their stomach ;-)

At this point, however, even if Barry does supply a legitimate copy or original birth certificate, I think it may be too little too late for me. If he is willing to hide this info-and by going to these great lengths to do so-I am frightened by what he would be willing to hide, and what he would be willing to do to hide whatever he doesn’t want us to know!!!!!!

Of course, this is just my take on things, and I am by no means an authority on the subject.  I just thought I'd share something I found to be interesting!

I have asked a million times, where in the Hell is the FBI? It should NEVER be up to us to do their work. I saw what you are talking about. Someone needs to get off their ASSES and do a little research. From what I can find out in the Laws of our Nation, his mother was not able to claim him as an AMERICAN CITIZEN, and no Laws have been written to make it so. The Laws would have to be written to retroactively include him. I know, he is the New Messiah! SORRY

hmmmmmmmm very interesting information.........and the liberals convinced themselves they had some idiotic case on McCain being born on a military base..............to TWO American Citizens!

hmmmmmmmmmmm but yet, they ARE hiding the facts from the American people about Obama's criteria......and sadly, all the Obamatron's are getting sucked in again!

just wait, O'Reilly or Hannity will sniff this one out............can't wait!

While on vacation last month, someone told me his birth name was "Jerry" not Barack and he had it changed by a court from Jerry to Barack. Anybody hear anything about this? I Googled it and didn't find anything.

sofaking, they were probably referring to the "barry" issue , which i think is pretty stupid.

who cares what people called him when he was a kid? if his original name was barry, who cares?

this is one issue that keeps going around and around.........and doesn't appear to have a bite LOL

To each of you that are smart enough to read and understand what you have read, please "GOOGLE" Obama's birth date, go to Atlas Shrugs: atlas exclusive: Final report on Obama's Birth. If you are able to sift through this, you will see what a Photo Chop and enhanced work is like. I have studied so much on his Birth and how he was supposed to be an American. I cannot find Proof Positive that he was ever a CITIZEN. If you can prove it, do it now or hold you're tongue!!

It is not up to Americans to prove their innocence; It is up to you to prove their guilt. It would be impossible to find proof of his birth if he is in fact legal unless he or the county or state in which he lived releases it. I doubt a Senator or candidate for presidency flew under the radar as you are implying? So since you have done all this research, you should have the proof regarding these claims you are making. At times the mentality of our people never ceases to amaze me. Try to show us Bushes birth certificate and see if you run into the same problems? I bet you will! Does that mean he is illegal also? And I suspect the reason you cannot find people to listen or give heed to your request or implications are because it is preposterous to most Americans with half a brain to pay attention to once again gossip/Spam. Please, You need to lay off the National Enquirer or similar reading material as your book of choice for educational insight purposes. Do you have your internet setting properly set for receiving Spam preventing it from getting it mixed up with real mail worth reading?

If the National Enquirer wrote a story indicating pineapples grew from big 300' tall trees would you buy into that story also? Where is our Americans Getting their education from these days? You still don’t think Santa clause is alive today riding around in a slay sled pulled by Rudolf with red nose and the bunch of flying reindeer do you? Sorry, I’m sorry I asked! I’m betting based on a few of these replies your answer would be yes because you read it somewhere before?

It is not up to me to PROVE anything. I am not a Blinded Sheeple or an Obamamaniac. I am only asking. As for the Federal Bureau of Idiots, I am sure that some of you on OCCASION have doubted their Intelligence! Like, say 9-11, or the Placing and arrest of an Innocent man for the Olympic Bombing? How about finding those responsible for mailing the Anthrax to Congress, or I am sure some of you remember the Unabomber. The list of their failures and ineptness is far reaching. Do you think our Leaders would come out after he has been a US Senator and tell us that he had no right being a Senator? I think not. All I do know is you folks are lucky to know everything. I was only asking for a Confirmation on his Legality. That is all' Seems like most don't care. Is it worth our Nation and our Freedom? NO!!!

Gangster- I have made no claims regarding this topic, I simply posted a web-site and my opinion about the info supplied by the site. I never said that it was true, or that I believed it was, I simply stated that IF it is true, how can we expect Barry to be honest on much more important topics such as national defense/security, the war in Iraq, our economy, etc., when he can't even supply a readily available document? And I did not receive any SPAM about this subject, it was something being discussed on a radio show, so I decided to perform an internet search and the site I listed is where I ended up. Maybe you should read the site and follow the links to some legitimate info on this subject. I never said that I wsa certain one way or another, but after so many requests for the document, and their lack of ability to supply it, I just feel like we're beind bamboozled!

Ricky- I can see by your comments that you're obviously putting that great OU education in "Alcoholic Rambling 101" to good use! Keep up the good work!

And I'm not offended by your comment about Wayne County, just compare the level of crime, welfare, and political corruptness of Cuyahoga County to that of Wayne and you'll see why I live where I do! Besides, I prefer to stay away from people like you who have no compassion for others, while sitting in your mom's basement, ever so eloquently relaying your opinions to us on a computer she probably bought you!! Get a life!!

hd- Some of these people can't see past their own noses-and don't care that they can't! They wait to be told how to feel, what to think, who to vote for, and so on. But when someone raises a valid question, as I have done here, they get all pissy and start name-calling and insulting others. I've seen these type of people before, and you can see them too....just go to any grade school and check the kindergarten class!

But what's still funny is that all of the posters who are condemning me are unable to back their position with actual, factual documentation! What a joke! Looks like the truth, or a search for the truth, really gets under their skin! :-)
