21: This movie I thought would be boring, actually it has a very good. The plot is the best.  It was a teaching movie for me. I learned things I didn't know about the life of gambling and card counting.

SHUTTER: Now this movie is a trip. If you are into scary movies then this is the movie for you. If you are a first time scary movie watcher, then I suggest that you watch this with someone. Supenseful and keep you on the edge of your seat..

RUINS: Everyone has to see this movie. It is scary and very grusome. It is a movie that you want forget once you have seen.

   Well happy watching... Have a great weekend...

      This summer has been a blast. I have taken the time to see a few good must see movies. First off  I have to give the special effects team who did the movie Jumper their props. That movie was excellent. 

       The Cleaner/ Samuel L. Jackson, very good I was surprised to see that this movie didn't make it to the theatres. This is a must see. This movie will keep you on the edge of your seats.

    Meet The Spartans/ If you want a good laugh you must see this. This movie kept me laughing.

     Pride/ This movie is and older year not a new release, but it is a must see to me. It is a story of the first African American Swim team. This movie taught me a lot and I am sure for those who watch it; it will teach you a lot too. Well to all keep enjoying your  summer, and as always take the time to see a movie.

         I have have seen some good movies within the last couple of weeks.  I have comprised a list of hits and and flops. Tell me what you think!

Before The Devil Knows your Dead: This movies is weird, but a good one.

AVP: Alien vs. Predator: Very good movie this could be a chick flick or a guy flick. It has a little bit of something , something for all.

 One missed Call: This movie was not very scary, this is a repeat for those movie called Final Desination. Not a must see.

Cloverfield: This movie was a waste of film, this movie reminded me of the Blair Witch Project. Rent this at your own risk....

         I  am fan of Mariah Carey. I wasn't surprised to see that she had married Nick Cannon. I believe that her talent is amazing. Her life is her business.  Sure, he is 10 to 11 yrs older than her, but who cares. Older men do it all the time, when they trade there older wifes in for 20 year olds. When they reach a mid-life crisis and want a younger girlfriend on they arm. I don't believe that this is a stunt to get more attension. She is a already one of the best selling female artist of all times.

     She waited 15yrs to get married again. Pershaps she is ready to start a new chapter in her life. This doesn't make her a bad person because she choose to marry a younger guy. At least she married the guy. So many people just are not ready to commit. I say if they truly love each other that time will tell. If the vows they made were true and from the heart then I am happy for them. Life is to short to stress about other peoples love life.

     I Guess I have a soft spot in my heart for actor Wesley Snipes. I believe last week he was sentenced for 3 year is prison for not paying his taxes. I am wondering why he can't just pay what he owes plus fines and be done with that. Pershaps he doesn't have the money to pay the back taxes on this large amount.

       I believe there are two sides to this story. If his accountants were doing his taxes for him;Wesley  maybe thought that all his taxes were being paid. The only fault of Mr. Snipes is he should have used better judgement and check to make sure the taxes were getting paid. I think 3 years is a stretch for unpaid taxes. I am sure that the taxes won't get paid by him sitting in jail.  I know there is got to be some sort of payment plan. Please jail time for taxes.  I can bet you the goverment owes all of us some money. 

 I am one of the biggest movie watcher and I have a few  movies that are must see for the know what I mean

 AUGUST RUSH: a story about music and how it can bring people together. a great love story. I believe that is for all not just a chick flick.

The assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. I am not to much of a cowboy type movie person, This movie far exceed any of the cowboy movies that I once heard of in the past. A must see. Brad Pitt is such an amazing actor that for a second you forget that he is not Jesse James.

Gone Baby Gone:  This movie is a must see as well. It is a must see as well. Not bad for Ben Alfleck first directorial movie. Casey Alfleck is great in this movie. And last but not least my favorite of the year would have to be

WAR:  This movie was is so good.  Pay close attension to this movie. You will be surprised. Well that is it. To all you movie watcher enjoy!!!! For those who have seen these movies let me know what you think of these movies. Happy watching!!!!!!!!

         I went passed a movie theatre the other day and  I noticed that there weren't many cars out there. That means that people are not spending there money on movies that will come out in the next to five months. I can't blame them. I am a movie lover and I can't believe the price of going out for a movie these days. For two people it will cost you at least $20.00 for tickets, $10.00 for two things for popcorn and candy is $2.50 per person drinks $2.50 per person.

      Total  price is around $30.00 bucks. Oh and I all most forgot the gas to get you to the movies. you are looking at an easy $50.00 so. It would be best for you to get a big screen T.V. and rent 5 movies. You can see those movies over and over; if you rent on weekends and plus you can see more than one movie at a cheaper price.

        Athough the Grammys had some major winnners last night. The talent leaves me wondering and waiting for more. There were a few of old time favorites that wooed me last night. My all time favorites would have to have been Tina Turner who took that stage to sing "What's Love Got To Do With It." Then her collaboration with Beyonce " Proud Mary"  or course there was Alicia Keys with John Mayer on her chart topping hit"No One"

       I was waiting to see if Whitney Houston would used this time   ake the biggest comeback of all times. What way to do a come back then on the 50th Grammy show. I didn't see her unless I missed her.   Some of the people who won I was surprise they even got nominated for a grammy. The talent is not there anyone. There are few  talent.  I am looking for a fresh face something different that has never been seen. I have to give it to Rihanna she is different. Her music reminds me or rock/techno. I like her style. I think her orginality will keep her around for a awhile. 

   We  need some older singers to bring it back the old school way. Last night Morris Day and the Time took me back to the OLD SCHOOL DAYS!!!! Days I will never forget.

    These are magazine that influences some of our young people today that being beautiful and looking hot is the only thing that matters in this world. Some of this magazines go out of there way to make you feel that you have to look a certain way to get the guy you want or get the kind of career you want. Everything is looks, looks,looks.

     We young girls and even older women sometimes feel that they can't get the look that the want.So they result in to the "NIP "N TUCK world. When we look in the mirror we imagine that only if our bodies were smaller are boobs were more higher our thighs were slimmer. We have the urge to be fix the problems that god has blessed us with.

     Why in the world would you get plastic surgery and go through all that pain of recovery; just because your nose or face doesn't look like somebody else's.

     Comparing yourselves to others doesn't always work out the  way you want it to. There will always be someone that is prettier than you or smarter than you. We are each unique and made different for a purpose. The person that you are is when no one is lookins. Who you are is not what you look like; the person you are is your spirit. You can't change that with Plastic Surgery!

         I know that Michael Jackson is getting up there in age, but when is he going to show us the wonderful magic that captivates us all. Those unforgettable dance moves that are etched in all minds for years to come.

      I would love to see him do a come back with some new material and some old time favorites. Michael, Michael I miss you come back and show the new and upcoming artistshow a pro does it.

       I have been watching idol for the last couple weeks now, I have noticed that this show is getting boring. There is really funny terrible singer that make the show worth watching;but it is really not many of the good singers that I am seeing, unless they are saving the best for last. I hope that they are. I believe it is time to branch off in to a different type of idol. Age limit should be a little older. Who says an Amercian  Idol has to be in his or her 20's. Write me an tell me what you think!

    Why is it when people die,others start to talk about them in such a rude way. Reading a story about the tragic and untilmely death of actor Heath Ledger on January 22. There are some people that are really sadden by his death. I am one of them. He was a young guy who had a wonderful career and a life that some have only dreamed of having. He survived the media and lived somewhat of a normal life. As normal as one could of his success. Some critics may say he was a drug user or a person that took too many risk in life.  He was an great actor that was getting better and better with age. When watching him on screen he became the character. He would get so lost in the character that he became the character and you as a viewer couldn't tell the difference.

      No one person is perfect in this world; we all have skeltons in our closets that  peek their heads out from time to time. When speaking of the dead remember they are human. RIP Mr. Ledger.  You earn the right to be just who you were  ( simply you)

  Britney Spears is back in the news again. This time it looks  like she has lost the visitation rights for her children. She also has lost soul custody of her children. What in the world is going on with this women. Is this a cry for help or is this a publicity stunt to get more people to buy her CD's. At this point you really don't know what to believe anymore.

If I had a dollar for everytime this women was in the news I would be a very rich women.  If any one of us were that rich  we would go somewhere and sit down and be thankful that we can pay our bills and not live pay check to pay check.

 Britney needs to seek some help! Stay with the program.  A Drug or alcoholic dependency takes longes than 60-90 days.

Dependency is a life long battle. A battle that should be taken seriously. Help is always there if you need it.   

I was watching the news the other night. I noticed that rapper was caught with a conceal  weapon at Cleveland Airpport. It is amazing to me that the famous people have different laws then the rest of us.

To my understanding he was late getting to his hearing yesterday. Reasons that were explained by his attorney that there was a problem with him getting back  because of a scheduling conflict.

The rapper couldn't get back to Cleveland for what ever reason. The the judge re enters all the case information and all the others stuff that needs to be done to get this case on  the way to trial. I don't think that this case will go to trial.

Just another famous person using their status to get our of doing the right and moral thing.
