I Believe that Gloria James has every right to get an attitude with the way her son was treated on Mondays night game. She held her peace for as long as she could.  The pass couple of games that I have seen I have noticed that fouls were not being called the way they should have.

I believe that they are trying to cause Lebron to miss future games. Celtic players are roughing him up a little to much for me. I believe that you are going to bump players and fall on the court and trip. The way this players are playing seems a little bit more personal to me. This is a game!!! Lebron needs to realize that everyone that smiles in your face is not your friend. Sometimes you have to be tough on the court. So them that you can be just as hard core as them.  Let them know that you are not a push over. People pleasing does not always work. In this case it is not working for Lebron.  My hats off to you Miss James handle your business.

A mother's instinct certainly came into play. I probably would have done the same!

I definatly would have done the same thing if that were one of my babies. I don't care how old or big your child is they are still your babies and a mother will always try to protect them.
The Celtics had a few dirty moves but nothing like the Wizards. That was just ridiculous!! I have to applaude Lebron though for being the bigger man and not responding to the BS that they were giving him and God knows he took some real hard hits during that series.

Everyone has to understand he is playing a game. Regardless if he is national or minor league. Mom needs to stay out of the game. I have a son and he played sports. You have to let the ref's and team manager handle the issues. She is too personal with the issue. Yes, her son, yet she needs to back off also. Let LeBron handle it he can and he will.

Good point also, hillbilly67! You are right also, but as all mothers know, it is our instinct, and she may have gone overboard, but at the same time like you said, the pros have to handle it, and I know sometimes mothers just have to sit back and leave it alone, no matter how hard it is. But it is extremely difficult, and I can't judge Gloria James, when I probably might have done the same.

They should've given her a breathalyzer test.
Of course, she would've failed it.

I had a debate with a friend of mine this week about this subject. In my opinion Ms. James did what every other parent would have done. She let it be known that she was there for her child, and she had his back. Yes, Lebron is a man, but he will always be her son. I say to Ms. James " YOU GO GIRL"

Even though I agree that his mother was upset that someone was trying to hurt her son.... I totally disagree with how she handled it. LeBron is a full grown very large man who can take care of his self on the court. His mother in my opinion embarrassed him on national TV, and from his reaction, he was not happy about her behavior.
