What in the world where they thinking having Papa John's sell pizzas for 23 cents.  I can't believe the people that worked at this shop are going to work there after today. I hope and pray that this people got extra pay for this. I can't believe people stood in line for the pizza. It sounded like a good idea at first, but it got way out of hand when a fight broke out. People are never ready for such socialization. To stand in lines tend to get on people nerves. Attitudes flare up because the lines are not going as fast as the people think they should. I think to miminize the long lines; Papa Johns should have passed our a coupon for 23 cents redeem anytime within the next four days. What a mess in the attempt to make a point!!!!

I agree, LAREED! The Papa John's in Euclid had a problem with disorderly conduct. NO pizza is worth standing in line for ALL day long. People have to be nuts. What is this world coming to!!

Sofakingdabest! Were you in the one in Euclid? I heard that was pretty bad. Didn't hear about too much trouble elsewhere, but the crazy long lines and hours of wait were everywhere! Thanks for any input!

It was almost like 10 cent beer night. What a marketing mistake! Papa John's should have just put a coupon in the Plain Dealer for a 23 cent pizza and people could use it whenever they chose.

That would have been a great idea. I think it was a disaster all around!

Hey I also love a good buy, I drove by and said "heck no", my time is more valuable. That's why I stay away from black friday, it gets crazy and they usually only have a few of the "great buy" items. Is it really worth it, I think not!!

im beginning to wonder if im the only person left in northeastern ohio who was raised in a two parent heterosexual family environment....my father taught us that we might be poor...but we had pride....we never accepted a handout and werent looking for a free anything in life...you worked for what you had and then invested it ....we didnt trashpick aluminum cans or stand in a line for a pizza that is worth like 5 bucks tops....if you spend as much time working as you do trying to get something for nothing, youd be retired early too....disguard your hillbilly values and get a real work ethic..it will make you a better and happier person...and the next time you see a bunch of truckdriver types standing in line for a free lunch, you ll be able to laugh like crazy too...have a nice day everyone

Well dprin you are right. What a great advertising ploy. Make fun of a star basketball player and apologise by having pizzas for 23 cents. Papa John's must need to boost their profits.
