I'm far but "star struck". However, I can honestly say that if I died tomorrow... I'd be a happy woman. A couple of years ago, I was summoned out of the audience to join Prince on stage. To some of you, I realize that does't mean much. For me, I can't even put that experience into words. Have any of you met your idol ? If so, under what circumstanes. I even met Boy George at Summit Mall, but that's a whole other story !

Isn't it kind of funny that we all seem to enjoy a great argument ?? So often we are on the same page, yet we will fight a moot point, to the finish...just to be RIGHT. I for one, admit to being very guilty of this. We stand firmly on the words of our "founding fathers", when it fits...However cry foul, when it seems like someone else isn't playing fair. What ever happened to "united we stand, divided we fall" ?? Each of us are a lil' left, right, liberal, conservative, Republican, Democrat...whatever, all rolled into one.

Is it just me, or has the entire world gone mad ?? Today's headlines alone have actually made me sick on the stomach. Are we in our final days? Teens forcing a young boy to sexually assault his own mother, during a home invasion. Murder everywhere you turn. I know that I'm not alone on this one...what can we do to put an end to this madness?

Must everything be so controversial ? Cleveland is the home of the" Rock" Hall. If you happen to enjoy polka, classical, rap,etc...are you traitor ??? Talk about spoiling a .... ! It's nice to see Cleveland in the national spotlight. If you aren't a sports fan, I can understand your ambivalence. However, fair warning...you may want to avoid Huron and E. 6th. GOOOO CAVS !!

I'm the first to admit...I love reading the FOX 8 blogs. There are some very interesting folks, on this site. Stash81,BBlack, Drey,gabulldogmom,Ellak along with several others ,have really provided some "real food for thought". Some of you regulars, may remember the confusing woes of a person that thought blogging was to be used in place of medically supervised therapy.Plaid shirt,ruby red lips...??? I truly hope that all former posters, are doing well. You've made a lasting impression. Believe it or not ! How about a update ? If not...best wishes nonetheless !

I had the pleasure of attending the Copley High School "Promenade" yesterday evening. Those young men and women,looked absolutely amazing ! It was so nice to see the ladies, return to traditional. Forget about the Hollywood red carpets... These kids were dressed to kill. I better start a prom dress fund, right now. I only have 10 more years, until my baby girl will be making her gown selection.

If "Idol Fans" are so sick of Sanjaya(spelling ?)Paula,Simon etc...why do you continue to tune in week after week ? Clearly this show has lost all credibility. Stop watching. Maybe then, FOX will be forced to fill "it's" time slot with something truly entertaining. Merely, a suggestion ?

I've pretty much had it with this "reality tv" garbage. Unless I have been trapped within some kind of bizarre altered state of mind, for the last 10-15 years...? There isn't a "gosh darn" thing, REAL about it. I'm almost afraid to tune into The Weather Channel. Pretty soon, the "forecast on the 8's", will require a parental advisory.

I apologize in advance, if anyone happens to be reading this blog while enjoying breakfast,lunch or dinner. I really did not intend to ruin your meal. However is anyone else besides me, already stocking up on barf bags? Oh I'm sorry! Is the "PC" term vomit receptacle? It's kind of difficult to be "hip", these days. Will "Election 2008",go down in history as the NASTIEST campaign year,EVER? Any thoughts?? Would love to get some OPINIONS! If I did't know any better, I'd believe that I possess some kind of physic ability. I can see this necessity coming, a mile away.
