I am a loyal Indians fan but seriously, I look at them and sometimes I just see a farm team for the rest of the league. They take somebody, make them good, and trade them off... heck of a way to win championships. I understand C.C. was in the last year of his contract and would have been a free agent at the end of the year.... but did they have to trade him for a couple of AAA players. They could have at least got somebody good, or got money to sign someone like Kenny or Trot.

Yes but... Everybody is giving up half way through the season. Forget the trades. Forget the injuries. Isn't a team supposed to fight to the bitter end? The GM, media and fans are permeated with an air of despondency. "OMG the season is over". Gimme a break. I wish the GM, Mr. Shapiro, would quit with his appeasing answers to poppycock questions from journalist and show he's got some balls(and strikes) and tell this team to get some fire in thier bellies. Come on tribe, get pissed off, angry and mean. If I were GM and players weren't playing with guts, I'd rotate the whole team with hungry minor league wanna be's. Believe me, the games would be more exciting. Our rally call for the rest of the season should be "Weeeee can dew eat!".

I get what your saying, but honestly the worst thing to do in the game of baseball is to get mad or get angry. If your clutching the bat to hard your gonna miss. But yes, this team does need some motivation. I do like your idea for rotating with minor leauge player. My mom did something like when she coached a volleyball team. She broke the team down into 2 parts, the first played the 1st and 2nd rounds, when you played better you were on the 1 string, when you played worse you played on the 2nd string. The same philosophy could work in major league baseball. Keep them motivated and keep themselves on the team.
