Berg vs. Obama Lawsuit

 

Philip J. Berg, an attorney and self-professed Hillary Clinton supporter who has filed a lawsuit against Barack Obama, the Democratic National Committee, and several other parties. Berg contends that Sen. Obama is not a natural born U.S. citizen and, therefore, is not constitutionally eligible to run for the office of president.

 

According to Berg, Obama was born in Kenya and then a week later flown back to Hawaii where a certificate of live birth was filed (view certificate). Berg claims the birth record initially posted on the Obama campaign website is a forgery based on his half-sister's certificate. Berg also noted that Obama would have lost any American citizenship status he had when he moved to Indonesia with his mother and was adopted by his step-father.

 

Berg presented other arguments to support his case, but believes the Republican Party has even more evidence and will use it to discredit Obama after he receives the Democratic nomination. Berg said journalist Wayne Madsen published an article about a GOP research team that was sent to Kenya and has located a certificate registering the birth of a boy named "Barack Obama, Jr." to his father, a Kenyan citizen and his mother, a U.S. citizen.

This would be a twist if it is true, what would happen if it was, would he have to pay back all the money he raised or would he have to give it to the Clintons.

would he be charged with fraud????

Even if it's true, I think that Mr. Berg would have a real tough time in proving this claim but if he could, it could really shake things up!

Hacksaw, here is the 411 on your guy Berg. He is a "nut job".

Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania - 01/04/07) - Philip J. Berg, Esquire, [Berg is a former Deputy Attorney General of Pennsylvania; former candidate for Governor and U.S. Senate; an attorney with offices in Montgomery County, PA and an active practice in Philadelphia, PA, who prior hereto has filed a RICO lawsuit against Bush and others for the events of 9/11 and plans to re-file shortly] announced today that he was issuing a call for world leaders to arrest and try Bush and Cheney for the global crimes of 9/11/01.

in 2001 he asked Supreme Court Justices Thomas, Scalia and O'Connor to voluntarily disbar themselves for their decision in Bush v. Gore. He also sued President Bush in 2004 under a RICO lawsuit on behalf of Willie Rodriguez.

Hacksaw, here is a comment on this law suit from someone who lives in Pennsylvania and is familar with the lay of the land and who is who and what is what.

"This all about Hillary Clinton. Berg is a Clinton supporter and some of the Pennsylvania Clinton supporters are reluctant to support Obama. One more thing, I know some newly elected members of the PA State Democratic Committee and they have told me that the “old guard” is a corrupt group. The “old guard” in this group which Berg was a member won’t support impeachment, won’t support paper trails for electronic voting and have very greasy palms. I’m suspect of Berg’s intentions especially coming from Lafayette Hills PA, a place that was recently visited by the McCain campaign."

Here is a portion of an interview with Berg. He was questioned about the Factcheck. org story about the birth certificate being for real. This guy said he never heard of factcheck.org and never saw the document on line.



reporters question: "Factcheck.org released a statement yesterday, including images showing an embossed seal and appropriate signatures, and maintained that after fondling the certificate they could attest to its authenticity. How satisfied are you with the independent forensic document experts cited in your complaint?"

Berg's response: "Well, I'm not familiar with that site [he asked me to spell it --Jeff] but I’ve seen documentation supporting our arguments just the same and I’m satisfied with that."

A few years before that, there were the Federal Racketeering actions filed against President Bush and others suggesting prior knowledge and a coverup of the September 11 attacks. And, of course, in the wake of the 2000 election, you called for the resignation of three Supreme Court Justices. You and I discussed, this afternoon, the effect of credibility on the authentication of rumor -- how do you transcend such issues with regard to this action?"

REALITY: OBAMA CANNOT CLAIM KENYAN CITIZENSHIP

Kenya Does Not Allow Dual Citizenship Applications for People Over 21 Years of Age. The U.S. Office of Personnel Management writes of Kenya, “DUAL CITIZENSHIP: Not recognized except for persons under 21 years old.” The Kenyan Constitution writes, “A person who, but for the proviso to section 87 (1), would be a citizen of Kenya by virtue of that subsection shall be entitled, upon making application before the specified date in such manner as may be prescribed by or under an Act of Parliament, to be registered as a citizen of Kenya: Provided that a person who has not attained the age of twenty-one years (other than a woman who is or has been married) may not himself make an application under this subsection, but an application may be made on his behalf by his parent or guardian.” [U.S. Office of Personnel Management; Kenyan Constitution]

Even if Obama Had Applied for Dual Citizenship Before He Was 21—Which He Did Not—It Would Have Expired. ”A person who, upon the attainment of the age of twenty-one years, is a citizen of Kenya and also a citizen of some other country other than Kenya shall, subject to subsection (7), cease to be a citizen of Kenya upon the specified date unless he has renounced his citizenship

hacksaw, take a really good look at all "photos" of what the obama camp calls his "birth certificate".............i did. also, take a really good look at all the stupid photos that medeas claims are proof...........

there is something wrong with each and every one of the pics i saw. something missing, something out of place, it can't be read, blah blah............all smoke to cover something.

i have personally SEEN a birth certificate from 1961, my own. it looks absolutely NOTHING like the one in medea's pics..........

i have also personally SEEN a certficite of live birth, my hubby's. HIS has all the necessary information on it.........

obama's is missing things....important things. wonder why THAT is?
