Hollywood writers on strike, who cares!!!!! I have seen alot if bad tv shows and bad movies should never been made. I think Hollywood need new creative juices right now.

I understand two of three points that they are bunting heads over. I believed that the writers should get royalites for their work for shows and movies if goes to dvd's and online broadcasts and any future media format.  But, I don't agree reality shows should job the union.  Many of these reality shows are just fad and the people participate in these shows are civilians not actors. These people have signed away any future profits of their new born celebrity when they signed that contract to be on these reality shows.

To the writers of Hollywood, take your time coming back to work. I will pop in a dvd of my favorite show or movies to watch on tv for a while, because America don't care right now. I  can finally turn off my V-chip on tv to watch something decent for a change.

We could read more, but NBC wants "us" to turn off out lights to save the earth. After the time change, it gets dark early and reading in the dark isn't easy.

With one good thing about the writers strike we can save alot on energy by turning off our tv's when get bore with the reruns.

You know, these writers are probably taken advantage of by the billion-dollar industry that they provide material for.....but having said that, I'm not about to make Hollywood feel any more self-absorbed than it already is by whining about reruns, especially when I RARELY watch prime time TV. I couldn't even tell you when more than one or two shows are on, and I kind of like it that way. This gives America an opportunity to see where our real priorities are....

Judging by the shows that I HAVE seen periodically, I'd assume that the writers have been on strike for years now....
