Vick and Quinn and the other young players are getting too much money for doing stupid things in sports. Quinn charging $75 autographs and holding out for $20M before signing with the Browns. Vick had endorsements out of the ying-yang worth millions all gone because of dog fight.  I am very sick and tire of these players getting pay too much for foolishness.

I am avid sport fan and watch the Browns, the Indians, and Cavs occasionally when they are on tv. I think today players are just wussies!!!! I wish our schools and teachers get this much financial support as these players are getting. I am sick and tire of these punks and the people who pays these punks these large salaries in the first place. These large salaries breed irrogrance, spoil athletes on and off the courts and fields.

How about all the professional athletes that give back to society? You have singled out Micheal Vick. Someone whom obviously has issues and I think would have the same demeanor regardless of having money or not. Brady Quinn is just taking advantage of what every other athlete with exceptional ability does. You've marked him as a wussy? He is a stand out in his field and on the field. So what, he charged for autographs. How do you know what he will do with the millions he earns? What makes a painting worth 20 million dollars? Why is it that an author who is on the Bestsellers list gets millions for his writings? A rock star like Paul McCartney a billionaire? Are they all bad people because they make a lot of money for what they do? Are all millionaires ignorant? And guess what? If you are an avid fan, you are helping pay those inflated salaries ! Although I agree that many professionals in every business are over paid, it only affects the character of a handful negatively.

I would not pay for Brady's autograph either, but my point was is that you can't say that because of a few, that all pro athlete's are spoiled or arrogant or wussies. Last year I went to the Pittsburgh game. A friend invited me. He has PLS tickets for 4 years now. His seats are on the 40 yard line in the upper deck. The cost? $275.00 ea.per game. Add parking and concessions, yes, about $600.00 for two guys to go see a 3 hour game. The place was packed! So I guess $75.00 for an autograph doesn't sound like a whole lot. It's all where you place the value in your money. Quinn and Vick should not be compared to one another. Vick is a criminal and a sad excuse for a human being, maybe affected by money but the difference is, football is part of the entertainment business and it is a sport that profits many people other than the players, so why rip Brady apart? Someday, if and when those signature are worth anything, the very same people that paid $75.00 for them will be out there trying to sell them for thousands!

Zeeball do you know any athletes had given back to the community, yet? I could name a few like LeBron James like his charity work and his side business for real estate company. At least he is giving back to society. Tiger Woods and the Williams had given back to society.

My comparsion of Vick to Quinn may not the best example here. My point is when these atletes get too much money too soon and get a lot of praise from fans and the media that it goes to their heads thinking that they are untouchable. I doubt Quinn's autograph will worth anything more than the paper it was written on. These are the same people who bought Beany Babies and tech stocks for outrageous money and ended up with nothing when they can't sell them.

I agree Vick should go to jail for what he done. His career is indefinitely over. And for Quinn its to early what he will do with his millions. The jury is still out.

I learned at the Brown's training camp to not give a crap about their signatures! When you bring your kid there it's supposed to be an awesome experience for them, instead they leave upset and dissapointed because they weren't one of the 50 people to get a token so they can stand in line for a signature. They sign a few things which lasts about 10 minutes or so then they're outta there! THESE ARE YOUR FANS AND SUPPORTERS!!! What does this say to these kids? I won't waste my money there again!

I think that our society is in a sad state of affairs when sports players are paid millions of dollars every year and teachers are in a constant state of worry about their jobs because they don't know if they will be keeping them from one year to the next. My thought has always been, if we are raising today's youth to function normally and respectfully in today's society, the teacher's should be the ones making the millions and the sports players should be making our meager salary.
