I am the director and a volunteer of Community Animal Task Force - www.CATforce.org. Our mission is to minimize the breeding and find homes for strays, displaced and discarded animals by forging the cost of spaying, neutering and annual vaccinations for those on low or fixed income. The elder generation benefit immensely from having a pet but often can't afford the medical costs associated with proper, responsible care. If you find that your company can help by sponsoring a home for a homeless animal, please contact me. Lifetime costs for cats are only about $1600 or less, dogs are about $1700.
