well I didn't write this ...but I believe in it. I love animals and do all I can to help them to have a better life here with us on this planet.  I write many letters to my Congresswoman, and my Senator on the behalf of animlas to end their abuses by passing laws to protect them. So, all you who have pets, or visit a zoo, or see your neighbors pet or live stock being neglected, or abused, or in need of shade, a drink of water, or medical help, do a kind act on their behalf, help them...perhaps reading this " animal plea" will give you quidence to offer your assistance and care. Animals are truly a gift from our Creator to be companions and friends to us- they were never created to be our food and menu items ( Genensis 1:29-30). So open up your heart and read and keep this animal plea in your concience and hearts, thank you.

Remember that they can't do a lot of things for themselves and that
they depend on you to make their life a quality life!

I am glad to hear everything is going so well. God may not do what we want when we want it but he does do it when we need it. Everything is a part of his plan and as long as we are patient we will see the blessings.
My neighbor has a cat she is trying to find a good home for, she is 2 1/2 and huge!! but absoulutly beautful, has all her shots, declawed, and spade. Sherry's friend wanted to put her to sleep and she wouldn't let him, if I had time for her I would take her, and I am not a cat person, but she is low maintenance and very loving. Her markings are stunning, the way she's marked in the face and nose, she looks like a male lion. She needs to go on a diet but she really, really needs a good home. If you know of anyone who would love her and take great care of her please let me know. Sherry already has a dog and cat, so she really doesn't want another. Thank you and have a blessed day.

oh she sounds beautiful- I hope they don't euthanize her- that's not the way to go. I would take her but I have 3 cats & 2 dogs and I wish I could find a home for 2 of my cats. tell her to post its pic and info in a vets office. hope someone will take her.

She is absolutly beautiful, I hate cats, sorry to say, but I feel in love with this one. Problem is I just started a second job and between both jobs and my daughter I just don't have the time for her. She's not a needy cat but I don't want to leave her home all the time by herself. My friend won't let them put her down, that's why she has her and if she is unable to find her a good home than she will end up keeping her just so she knows that she's alright.

I think you are worring to much- cats are very independant. and as adults they sleep for about 18 hours in a day. all she really needs from you is daily fresh water, a clean litter box that she can get to and 2-3 feedings a day. dogs are more work- they are " pack" animals and when we take in a dog to be our pet we make him/her dependant upon us for food, water, excersize, obedience training, and we become their pack and alpha leader. relax- she will be okay with love and a peaceful home.

That's what I thought to but my friend told me last night that she was left home alone for 2 weeks, with no one coming or going, so she has a little "anxiety" and so I really don't want her to feel abandonded. She is only 2 and fat as all get out. My friend has her on a diet cause she weighs at least 35 lbs. She weighs over 10 lbs more than my 20 month old daughter! Its not healthy and she has a lot of fur which is all matted and knotted so for right now she really does need attention and love. I really would love to have her but I would feel as though I'm neglecting her and since my friend is home all the time she can feed her properly and slowly brush out all the knots. It's sad cause is absolutly beautiful, I have never seen a cat with her facial markings before.

well I see your point- it sounds like she needs alot where someone can spend time with her- i hate to hear of a pet over weight it is so hard on their lungs, joints and back- hope things turn out for this cat.

CAKhomelodge, that was a good blog to me, thank you. My friend Sonya and I were talking about all of the animals that could use assistance from people and that it can be done with money or with volunteering at your local humane society. Sonya and I both care about animals and I am also guilty of over feeding my pets. They keep asking for more food and fattening food. If a person does not have the time then donate money and if you don’t have the extra money donate your time. Not just money but food or blankets and stuff. This is in my opinion the saying that when someone gives from the heart that God gives back twice as much. God bless and have a great day, love the post, Karl and Sonya.
