all through our lives we will fail, get angry, do or say something we shouldn't, think things we know are wrong. We are sinners who need forgiveness and  often we will need to forgive those who wrong or hurt us. So He came to show us how to become " forgiven and how to become  foregivers". read  on........

One day a while back, a man, his heart heavy with grief, was walking in the woods.  As he
thought about his life this day, he knew many things were not right.  He thought about those
who had lied about him back when he had a job.

His thoughts turned to those who had stolen his things and cheated him.  He remembered
family that had passed on.  His mind turned to the illness he had, that no one could cure.
His very soul was filled with anger, resentment, and frustration.
Standing there this day, searching for answers he could not find, knowing all else had failed
him, he knelt at the base of an old oak tree to seek the one he knew would always be there.
And with tears in his eyes, he prayed:
"Lord- You have done wonderful things for me in this life.  You have told me to do many things for you, and I happily obeyed.  Today, you have told me to forgive.  I am sad, Lord, because I cannot, I don't know how.  It is not fair Lord, I didn't deserve these wrongs that were done against me, and I shouldn't have to forgive.  As perfect as your way is Lord, this one thing I cannot do, for I don't know how to forgive.  My anger is so deep Lord, I fear I may not hear you, but I pray you teach me to do the one thing I cannot do: Teach me to forgive."   As he knelt there in the quiet shade of that old oak tree, he felt something fall onto his shoulder. He opened his eyes.  Out of the corner of one eye, he saw something red on his shirt.  He could not turn to see what it was because where the oak tree had been was a large square piece of wood in the ground.  He raised his head and saw two feet held to the wood with a large spike through them.    He raised his head more, and tears came to his eyes as he saw Jesus hanging on a cross.
He saw spikes in His hands, a gash in His side, a torn and battered body, deep thorns sunk
into His head.  Finally he saw the suffering and pain on His precious face.  As their eyes met,
the man's tears turned to sobbing, and Jesus began to speak.
"Have you ever told a lie?" He asked?    The man answered - "Yes, Lord."   "Have you ever been given too much change and kept it?"   The man answered - "Yes, Lord." And the man sobbed more and more.    "Have you ever taken something from work that wasn't yours?" Jesus asked    And the man answered, "Yes, Lord."   "Have you ever sworn, using my Father's name in vain?"   The man, crying now, answered - "Yes, Lord."   As Jesus asked many more times, "Have you ever?" The man's crying became uncontrollable, for he could only answer- "Yes, Lord."   Then Jesus turned His head from one side to the other, and the man felt something fall on his
other shoulder.  He looked and saw that it was the blood of Jesus.  When he looked back up,
his eyes met those of Jesus, and there was a look of love the man had never seen or known before.
Jesus said, "I didn't deserve this either, but I forgive you."

Foregiveness, this is the hardest test of life, to be wronged in life by someone, and then to foregive.
I have foregiven just about everyone that has wronged me, but the thought's are still with me, so then I think of the sins I do and it helps.
but there is one person I will never foregive and I will go to my grave with the anger, Tony Williams, Contractor, he spoke the word of God to earn our trust, and BAM he walked away with our money, and it's really not about the money, he knew what my wife was going through and took advanatge of us, and some people may say there are two sides to the story, and I will say, please explain his for me.

I also struggle with such feelings - but if you look real hard & honest at your own self the feelings of anger & unforgivness are not even putting a dent into this person your angry with, he doesn't know or care. but who it is hurting is you.( I'm speaking from experience) it's damaging you, it's holding you back, it's keeping blessings from you.
remember when Jesus was in the wilderness for 40 days and Satan came tempting Him? how & what did Satan do? He quoted the Bible to Jesus with a bit of a twist.( a lie ) if Satan quotes from the Bible to misuse & twist to mislead , so can others. we can talk about this later but let god guide your heart. you area good person . bad things do happen to good people.

It doesn't consume me I keep it in the back of my mind, and there will be some point in my life I will run into him again, it was nice to see him move out of our communty, because no one wanted him to do any work around here, so he moved to Akron so if you hear of a Tony Williams out your way Beware, he a scammer, warn you friends and Family.

Maybe I'll bring picks of our house when we get together. thanks Cak

wow super! I do feel for you and gyro. I had someone who SAID she was a FRIEND really screw me bad. I bought a house from her, land contract, had the contract and everything. I spent two weeks, my OWN labor (my boys were only 6 & 12 so couldn't really help too much) and spent about $2,ooo of MY money fixing the place up. It REALLY looked nice when I was done. After we lived there for one year she decided she wanted it for her daughter. I was going thru the beginnings of my depression then and this just made it worse. Anyway I took her to court, contract, pictures, receipts, witnesses...BUT THE JUDGE was a friend of her & her husband (mailman) the judge only granted me $600!!!! And SHE didn't even show up to court! I was too "tired" to keep fighting it!!!!

hate to say it sis, but the judge was your old pal WEIGAND!
it was because of us having to move that we were homeless for 5 days, a bitty named Soltis caused my dog getting put to sleep from her lies and Weigand again did a wrong judgement that COST me $400 and then Dave trashed my car WITHOUT my consent & left me carless!...oh but that was all years ago...in the past...I've let it go...just the scars still "itch" sometimes! :)
