Well back in January of 2007 my brother set me up with a used pc. He got it all programed to my liking and away I went. This is my first home pc. As I watced the  fox 8 news one night Bill Martin was talking about fox8's new web site and "blogging',  I  immediatly joined. I'm alone most of the time. except when I go to work. or with my dogs. I really don't have money to spend going out, then of course it's no fun going out alone anyways( I've tried it)lo . So I work, pay bills, do necessary shopping. work around the house, so on ( boring) Most of my friends are busy with their own lives and families...no one really wants to hang around a 50 (+) year old, single lady. I enjoy staying home...but there are times ,not often, that I wish I could just GO! Well,  I always enjoyed writting( I wanted to be a Journalist and travel the world and write about everything I saw and went, and did) marriage and baby put an end to those dreams. But the passion never died. Well as girlscout so keenly noticed in a comment on a blog awhile back said " boy do you live a sheltered life" and she is so right.So by joining this fox 8 blog site has widened my world. It takes me to all the places I wanted to see and write about. It allows me to write and share my " small & sheltered " world with all of you. It has given me the opportunity to meet so many nice, fun, carring,and yes, even a few wild funny characters. It gives me the opportunity to share my faith in Jesus, the poems I have written, to share my thoughts, to learn from others by their wisdom, experiences, thoughts and opinions. And that by comparing our lives, our thoughts we can achieve an explosion of groweth and learning from each other. That perhaps learning from others and listening to their points of view will help me to learn and grow, and become a more informed and better person.This wonderful web site has opened a door of wonder, fun, new experiences and people from all walks of life that I would  have missed meeting in my " sheltered" life here at home. So many of " my new cyber friends" have become so dear to my heart in such a short time.  I will not mention their names for fear of mistakingly not mentioning one of them. Fox 8 news, I thank you for this opportunity of fun, learning and sharing and meeting such delightful, funny ,carring people. It has truly become an open door. I realize our opinions and views will not always be in allignment, I also realize they don't have to, after all we are individuals which makes us all special, unigue and important. Yet in the same token we are really the same  and so much alike. Just like a mixed and assorted bouque of dazzling array of flowers. We are all needed and can add apositive  mark in the lives of each other. Thanks for becoming apart of my small ,sheltered life and adding to the width, breadth, and hight of my world.

Wow! What a wonderful post. Many of us feel the same about you!!
Want to cyber travel a bit, see some places that not many do? Watch my blog in the next few weeks, I have a treat for you.
Plus, as some of you already know, there are plans in the making for us bloggers to have a "get together" in the near future. Should be fun.
I agree, there are many here that have become a positive in my life too. Many times we argue and emotions run deep, but the mix of personalities makes this place very interesting.

Aww CAK - how nice! Just remember - my comment was just meant to tease you about being afraid to drive on the freeway! I certainly did not mean to diminish the value of you as a "homebody". And none of our lives take the exact path that we have thought it would - that's part of the adventure!

Cak atak, Cak atak, nope just like to say nice post, and you can see everything from coast to coast on the interesting net as gyro calls it, and she is right "interesting" it can be and also fun and eye opening.
Information at your finger tips, computers are great if used right.
Just a reminder Cak, a short bald guy that is 300 pounds can be 6 foot tall with a six pak abs, just be careful who you call friend.....

I knew it all along!!!!!!!!!!!! You live your life in a closet!!!!!!!! Did you figure out that you might want to celebrate and enjoy your life today as much as you can instead of waste your foolish time for your fake imaginary God to take you to a better imaginary place in the sky or in outerspace???????? I hope this is a big first step for you into reality and stop with the religious freak stuff wasting peoples time and your one and only life away on imaginary foolishness! snikers... what's the matter with you , can't you read? or do you always talk sideways out of your mouth? your comment is foolish, without knowledge , wisdom, and common sense. you must really be a very unhappy, frustrated, and angry, person driven by dispare and envy. my relationship with my creator and God is alive and well and most true. One day you will regret such remarks against God and your lack of faith. I feel sorry for you, what an empty heart you have. what an aweful way to exist.

you sound like your a beautiful person and that was a beautiful blog you posted. If we lived close to one another I would want to be around you. Your a very interesting person with a lot of knowledge. It is very lonley to do things by yourself. I always tell my husband that. He has his golf, and hunting and race track. I will play golf and sometimes I will go to the race track with him, although not all the times. I do not like to shop I go in and get what I need or unless I have time to waste and feel like shopping, which that is a real rare case. Your an awesome person.
I feel really bad for snikers. For him to talk about God like that. Very sad. We would not have anything on this earth if it was not for him. Look all around you everything was made by God. I will pray for him and others who believe like he does. Very sad world that they live in. God bless you snikers. I pray that God gives you encouragement and widsom to know better and will give you the guidence you need. There are people like you in the world and just sad to know you believe that way. Your a very sad person and limited with your knowledge and your very ignorant when you talk. When you do come to where God wants you to you will be a much happier person. God bless you.

By the way Cak I love your german shepard. My husband and I just got a puppy three weeks ago of a lab/german shepard mix. She is beautiful. All black with a white spot on her chin and on her chest. We got her when she was 4wks old. The mother(lab) this was her second litter and she refused to feed the pups. She is a very smart dog. I have worked with her everyday to be house trained. We are almost there. I see more lab in her than shepard. She is smart and loves people. She loves my husband. I just wish I could get her to sleep through the night more. I forgot what it was like to have a new baby in the house. OUr son is soon to be 22yrs old in April and my baby is expecting his first baby at the end of the month. A girl. I am excited our first grand child. My husband is 61 and I am 40. We have been together for 23yrs and married for 12yrs. I have been with him since I was 14rys old. He is my rock, my big daddy. He is also my best friend. He is an excellect father and husband. Sorry for going off like that. I love german shepards. They are awesome dogs. Dogs fill your time up and especially puppies. Thanks for listening.

I love Jesus, animals, , I have a good job that is very satisfying. I share my home with 2 cats & 3 dogs(1 rottweiler, he passed away Nov 1 2007/ 1 boxer mix, & australlian /blk lab mix)). 1 new cat
