It really gets too me that people complain about the deer population and how many problems they cause. I love nature, and my husband is a hunter. Maybe if we would not keep developing and developing and cutting down all the woods, it would not be such a problem. I live in Strongsville. There was 50 plus acres of lovely woods right off of route 82 and 71. After years of fighting the developers just won and have now cut down a good portion of the woods. They gave some of it back to the Metroparks; well duh, if they did not, we would have a major flood problem. I guess they are planning to build, yes more shopping stores as if we don't have enough already. There are so many other areas that I see where buildings are sitting empty and wasting away and some of them not very old. Why not look into those areas instead of cutting down the beautiful woods where all these beautiful creatures live. Then they want to complain about the deer population. It makes me crazy. I wish they would make laws that prohibit over developing areas so that it is like being in a cement city or something.
