Hey Gang,

This really is a simple thing to do. Fixing the Browns isnt a matter of some great magic trick or devine intervention. No, there is a very simple formula that will bring this team back to the power house team we as fans deserve. It's a s simple as this. DRAFT TO WIN. As we watch another failing Browns season unfold, people are just now coming around to the idea that the offensive line might be a problem. Having suffered with this team since the early 70's as a kid, I have figured out enough that in April I had that same feeling as when Biner dropped the ball on the 2 yard line vs. Denver.
It is hard to argue with the picks of Wimbley and Jackson, but beyond that we should have taken O-line. Previous draft picks of Winslow and Edwards seem to have been good, but again, wheres the O-line? People are now after the head of Maurice Carthon for calling bad plays. What plays do you call with a line that cannot run block or pass block? Bernie Kosar in the preseason pointed out the slant seemed to be this teams favorite play. Do you wonder why? Drop 3 steps and get rid of it and maybe our QB will live to throw again.
I understand we lost Bentley due to injury, but one man does not fix this. If I am running the draft next year, it's simple. We need help at corner at that should be addressed. After that, or maybe even before if the right player is available, its all about the offensive line. Until this is addressed, the Browns will suffer.

I work as a Feild Tech for an IT company based in Columbus. I'm 41 and have never seen a Browns championship in my life. I'm proud to be from Cleveland and make a point of wearing my Browns colors whenever I visit relatives in the Pittsburgh area. The one time I was dragged to a Steelers game in Pittsburgh, I went in orange and brown. The Cavs are a nice distraction and the Indians are nothing more than an annoyance until that special time of year comes around when it's football season again in Cleveland.
