Is 67 years old too old to have a baby? Of course it is. Especially with twins. Never mind the fact she'll be in her eighties at graduation. What about the demands posed just in rearing them? The energy needed is more than any amount of Ensure could supply. And let's not forget the emotional scarring those children will experience from all those months of breast feeding. Yuk!

If she was so hell bent to have a child she should have considered adopting older children. She'll be in a nursing home or dead by the time they graduate.

I agree this is crazy. I'm not usually one to call for government restriction but they need to step in and put age restrictions on fertility treatments.

I think she is being selfish. They said she will be 85 when they graduate and she might not even be around. She probably won't be there to see her kids get married and I wonder if she thought about how that will hurt her kids.

One thing's for sure, when the kids go to their senior dance, mom can go too.

I think it was a stupid and selfish move on her behalf. She's not going to have the strength to deal with the two...at all and it's not fair to the kids.

Especially if she's gotta chase em down. You can only go so fast in a walker. Maybe a Rascal would be a help.

how sad for those kids who may never really know their mother, except as an invalid, or having to care for her when they are young, very selfish on her part when there are so many older children waiting for a home!!!

I do believe her motives were totally self serving. She lied about her age to the fertility clinic and to the agencies she applied to for assistance. She wanted to obviously fill a void in her life at the expense of these newborns. Hopefully all will work out for their sakes.

47 yrs. old. Married 25 years, and father of two, both kids grown and on their own {except for Baxter, our Corgi}.I work construction, and love to repair all our own stuff(home, cars etc.). I truly love our city. It,s got big city culture without big big city petentiousness. Sure we have our problems, but ya take the good with the bad. We have three pro sports teams, all of which are supported by our fans, good or bad. This city has much to offer if we all just look past the negative and see the light.
