I was at the Crown Classic Dog Show on Saturday and Mr. Dick Goddard was there supporting the dogs and giving our autographs. My son Bryan was a Intern this past summer with Andre' Bernier, Dick , Mellisa and the other Meteorologist's of FOX 8 News.
Although, my son spoke fondley of all of them, I have never had the opportunity to meet anyone but Andre', so I wanted to introduce myself. Mr. Goddard was so gracious to me. He was happy to hear Bryan was doing well and will soon be graduating from Meteorology school on May 18, 2008. He was happy to hear he will be home for the Holiday break in just a few days.
Thank you for being so nice to me and for signing my calender and Dick Goddard bobble head. Thank you to all of you, for all you have done to suport my son and his endeavor to be a broadcast meteorologist. Your continued support is greatly appreciated!

If you log on to the Weather Channels web site there is a clip of the very first minute the weather channel was on the air, 25 years ago today! The clip has Fox 8's very own Andre' Bernier and Bruce Edwards (now named Bruce Kolinowski of WOIO) also a Cleveland weather man. How COOL!

I just wanted to take a minute and Thank you for talking about my son Bryan Shaw and Lyndon State College on todays weather pic. Bryan has worked very hard and has almost completed his schooling at Lyndon State to become a meteorologist.
You have been very supportive of him over the years and watched his progress and you continue to do so. Speaking of him on your morning news show has caused quit a bit of excitement and I wanted to tell you how much I appreciate it.
